just like the topic sais... do you guys know where the cheapest place to get all four koni yellows from. how much did you pay... and do you like them...

TireRack.com has them for a good price...unless you can find them on ebay... haven't seen them on there in a while...

maybe if enuff people want to we could hit up tirerack with a GB.. and get them cheaper..

go to froogle and then click lowest price first. I dont think u'll find them under $600.

do you guys think there worth 600$... i mean thats a lot of cash i just want some opinions on people who have got them and what they think of them.

IMO, unless you plan on autoX or actually fully utilizing them... just get some new KYBs or something and save the money for something more useful. Aside from that, I would imagine they're excellent shocks. Some of the best inserts made and available for our Celicas.

No... KYB only makes GR2's which are factory upgrades.

but they are still great....i'm dropped ruffly 2.5" and i was bouncy as shiznat on stock shocks.....put kyb gr-2 in the rear and made a big difference i still have to put the fronts on though.....

ok well will the gr2 last with ground control coilovers... becouse thats the setup i went with just recently and i bought some oem inserts in front and i dont really like them there really stiff, and i dont know how long there going to last.

The stiffness is not because of the shocks... but the high spring rates of coilover type springs. It'll still be pretty hard with Koni Yellows I'm afraid. Also, decreasing stroke value by adjusting the height of the car (lowering a car) will reduce the life of a typical shock unless the shocks are designed for it. Even the Koni Yellows are designed to be more or less adjustable drop-ins and do not neccesarily increase shock life in lowered cars. The correct way to go about it would be a short stroke conversion, which I may be investigating in the very near future... ;]

I have to do some camparisons first. ;] Short stroke conversions will require cutting and welding of the strut casing... so it might be a bit of $$ but still probably cheaper than Koni Yellows...
