Does anyone know where to get cheap strut braces from for the ceilica. There is like a million for civics but when it comes to toyota there doesnt seem to be any? Do the Camry ones fit by any chance?

For the neon bar you need to drill 2 new holes on each ring. It is the 95-99 bar with the FULL ring. Its about $20 on ebay shipped.

would it weaken the bar? yes.. because it will remove material from the structure, in the end the holes will weaken it..

would you notice the difference? No.. the two small holes you add do not affect the performace of the strut bar.

we should sticky this neon strut bar thread.

too many questions on this matter.

and psssssshh batman722, quit showing off your engine.. your making my engine compartment look bad.. wink.gif

between the st and gt, the body shape (ie. hood height) is the same right? for anyone that has this, how high above the strut towers does this go?

Mine just came yesterday.. definitely will need to drill two new holes. Anyone know offhand what size of bit needs to be used? I'm going to try to get it installed today or by Wednesday at the latest.

I was really suprised though. Did it "Buy it Now" on Thursday afternoon. It shipped Thursday afternoon USPS from CA and arrived here in NC yesterday!
