nothing new to me, I read the title and though it would be about theft, guess not.

adding weight to the car, anywhere will make the stoping distance longer, even putting big subs in the trunk or extra passengers will affect that. plus its easy to get your speed reconfigured to differant diamiter/radious wheels and tires, just go to a tire shop, most can do it.

they should have done some math etc to see wither the gain of aftermaket lo-pro tires will take enough distance off your stop time to cover the weight that the bigger rims add to the stop dist. that would have been real interesting.
