Has anyone of you ever got the problem of being not able to turn the temperature controller for aeration to the coldest position?
I demounted the controller for getting the central console out!
When I tried to fix it again, I realized the problem!
I think, that the cable, controlling the flap for HOT/COLD clamps anywhere...

Does anybody know, how to repair the temperature regulator?

If so, let me know please!

Its hard to understand what your saying. Did you disconnect yout cable? When you turn your knob, its not turning? Your post makes no sense to me. Rewrite again, and I will try to help you.

If you cant turn it all the way then there is not sufficient slack. The cord is barely long enough to turn the knob. If you routed the knob around wires then the slack on the cable would decrease. I had the same problem. Just route the cable as direct as possible. Do not go around the wires behind tha climate control, go through them.

Mine does that sometimes when i try to turn it all the way toward hot. It will click back one notch so i just turn it harder and it usually stays.

I did not disconnect the cable ever before...I just demounted the controller...if you ever tried to paint your central console, you īd know what I mean!;-)
In my opinion, the cord is not long enough to turn the knob!Is it possible, that when demounting the controller it was getting clamped anywhere? It seems to be quite stretched...

If I made some grammatical mistakes, Iīd feel sorry ;-) English is not my native language ;-)

hope you can help me...

Well I dunno if this helps but...........
2 weeks ago I fitted my new stereo, put everything back and everything was good. A couple of days later I tried turning my heater knob and found that it would not budge. Anyway, had the stereo out again the weekend, found that an RCA plug from my old changer control lead had got jammed in the mechanism for the heat control knob, so just make sure everythings clear behind it by taking your stereo out!!
