if your wheels and tires are the same size as the stock your fine.... and you'll still going to get the ticket and pay for it.. you are responsible for anything done to your car.. so if the speedo off and they get you for speedling.. you where still speeding... get your car fixed by a qualified tech... is what the judge told my cousin...

Yeah, the judge won't care. He'll just tell you to fix your car.

What size are your tires again?

well there is no way you can prove it, and I think you've had 18"s for at least 7 months, so you've had alot of time to fix it, but you could just say your poor and lazy, and if they take this money from you it will take u even longer to fix it.

You can take your car to be tested/fixed for the speedo problem. This recept is documentation that you did infact not know your exact speed and will help you in court. My dad has done it MANY times. He's actualy got a set of spare tires that he got oversized just for this reason. He gets ticketed and switches the rims and gets tested. He's never lost in court with that reason.

I've heard of a couple people having luck with this as well. You need to get it fixed BEFORE the court date.

Good luck!
