Yep, I just called by buddy in Puerto Rico and he said: "Damn, you call too much...I'm gonna drop a nut inside your cylinder, haha. Oh, talking about cylinders, I just got done opening up you 7A-FE and your #3 is totally brand new looking. It's just the piston that's cracked and the upper ring is broke but everything else is brand new. I'll replace it lickity split when I get the parts...you'll be boosting in no time. You're coming Tuesday, right? By Thursday I can have the parts...I'll replace rod bearings, pistons and rings just to be safe...and install a metal headgasket. Damn dude, that engine is brand new...no ****. Impressive how much it smoked through just that piston.". Anyway guys, I'm so happy...what a Christmas present. I'll be boosting, yayyy...the 7A-FE still stands...and it resisted 15 PSI bursts with stock injectors. My engine came macho from the factory, LOL. biggrin.gif

I'm using a T3/TO4B .48 exhaust Stage III .06 compressor. Hey man, I didn't want to boost that high but I was exiting an intersection and I let the gas pedal go, so the blow-off webt off and this cop heard me and turned around. It was either a ticket ot get the hell outta there so I could make it to my girl's house. Booty was first, so I nailed it and by the time the cop turned around, I already made it to an old road. He thought I kept going. After that boost, the car smoked continually instead of just when letting off the gas pedal after boosting. So I know that's when the piston finally cracked, LOL. The EGT went almost to the max, too. So I decided to try to break the engine and kept boosting 15 PSI. But the smoking was so embarrasing, I put the car away and didn't drive it for the remaining of my vacation, hehe. That was in April of this year. Anyway, my buddy today told me the rest of the pistons and rings are in brand new condition. It's just that #3 that broke. So I'm searching like crazy for a damn piston so I can have the car running this Tuesday. Somebody help me, LOL. biggrin.gif
