To be honest, dont go to a school thats far away JUST because you wanna be far away from home. I thought that i'd be happy if that were the case but i wasnt. Visit MANY MANY MANY colleges before u decide on an actual school that you go to. Decide what kinda major you would possibly be interested in. What kinda atmosphere (beach, city, suburban, country, etc.). Follow my advice because it took me 3 schools to finally decide on a school that i settled on. Good luck to you though.

I did my undergrad in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois. Im doing grad school in the same at the University of Washington. But are top ten programs for Aero, so your grades might not be good enough.
For aero i would look into Kansas, North Carolina State, San Jose State, Ohio state, UCLA... thats all i can think of right now Yes i put Ohio State, but take into account that in state tuition is half that of out of state. I went to school 2 hours from home, but other than the fact that i dont have to pay for a plane ticket to come back for holidays, it was like i went to school far away. -------------------- Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it... |

You could try to get into Wooster in ohio. My X goes there and loves it. Indiana University is close to you as well and a great school
