Do a bit more research. 3SGTE rods won't work... low-comp pistons aren't exactly cheap or readily available... and Supra injectors should be enough for most mild boost applications...

ok i will refrase that , i have 8.5:1 forged pistons , rods do work with crank maching , which i have to do anyways cause the rod bearing is stuck to the crank in peices, and theres a guy on this site running them and they are in the mail , and i not guna be running the mild 8-10 pounds boost , more like 15+when at the track , just asking what the safe amount is , i had the stock ct26 and turbo up in runnign but u had a abd turbo so i took it off ,plus my oil pump went out

you really need to do some reasearch...your gonna need AT LEAST 440's to run anywhere near 15lbs...and EMS is gonna be a must to control it, obviously..

3sgte rods DO work. Ive got them in my car.

Has anyone found a set of 440's that are a direct plug in?

Really? That means stroke loss, which means displacement loss and compression loss... which would probably bother me and most people... but whatever... =P

I'm assuming this is directed at me... but really now. Based on your original post, what are we supposed to think? For the record, the 3SGTE rods will fit with modification to the journals. I believe the pin diameter is the same... but the major difference is the rod length. Sure the 3S rod is much stronger, but the length is gonna leave a gap in the cylinder. IMO, the bottom-end is strong enough to handle decent boost pressure with good tuning. Forged pistons and stronger rods should reflect your goal... either you're being very safe, or shooting for the stars...

that response in no way wws directed at only you , i am reffering to everyone in general , i do appreciate your input as well as others , i know i should have worded it differently , as for rods time well only time well tell , i am sure the diameter of the pin is the same i beilve the location is differtent problem is that no one here has documented the differnces in the rods when they have them installed , i will make sure i write everthing doen and take pics , to clear things up
