where do you guys draw the power for your car alarms? Currently I just have a wire running directly to the battery. But now i'm thinking that wire would be easy to disconnect if someone tired to steel the car.

So where do you guys draw power from?

The constant power wire at the ignition harness will work.

It's slighly risky. The safest way to wire would be a fused wire from the battery like you have now. But since you want to change your setup, the ignition harness is really the safest place to get +12 volts from. An alarm doesn't draw much power, and the circuit is fused anyway, so you should be fine.
