yesterday i washed my engine (5sfe) (looks nice) but unfortunatly the seals on the spark wire caps had small gaps around the edges (from the owner before!)
now i have taken the spark plugs put and dried them and dried out the inside of the ignition chambers, and the engine is runnung fine (drove 40km to test) should i do anything to prevent further damage? (im buying new leads this week) |

If it's running fine, I don't think you would have to worry about anything that's going to happen. More than likely, your engine would produce enough heat to evaporate it anyways.. Hydro lock being a different story..

If its running fine then its fine. The engine heat will evaporate the water anyways for the most part.
