I spray painted em, just cleaned em with alcohol and sprayed em with model shop paint... I pluged in one sub in a cheap box and I have a headache already so I guess it will be good enough:)

Looks very messy, you should try and build an amp rack and hide the wires, will look a lot better.

yeah definately hide them wires man! all in all i like that setup very much.... ive heard them comps, but with one JL W3. a JL 300/4 was powering the components and a JL 250/1 was powering the sub. very clean system, the cd player was a Eclipse 5442(drools) but i do LOVE that cd player and was going to purchase it but some things came up. but id definately love to have it. buuuut as DigNDoug said, hide them wires man, just get a piece of 3/4" or so MDF and carpet it and put it in front of the back seat, where your crossovers are, and put them on it and drill some small holes for the wires to go through and the amp wires..etc...

Nicely done, did you use primer and laquer before n after, or just go straight on with the colour cos it looks like a nice clean thin coat especially around the little air vent symbols? I might have a go myself, gonna try and get the silver colour that matches my car colour.

it's actually really easy to paint all the dash inserts. all you need to do is make sure they're clean, and you don't even need to prime or sand them before you paint, as long as you use a good paint. i would recommend krylon fusion paint, it adheres wonderfully to plastic... my boyfriend used it in his car (he had grey interior, and wanted black) so we sprayed it, let it sit for almost 2 weeks outside of his car, scratched a key along it, and it didn't even make one little scratch... that stuff is amazing, and that was without any clear coat.

They sound VERY clear I love em, they seem to distort on a high bass song with the bass up *before I hooked in the subs* im not sure still if its because there wasnt enough clearance in the stock grill or it was just outa their range, when I find out ill tell ya. You can find the mbquarts about 180 a pair and an amp to power em for about 180 so its not TOO bad if you really interested, but the crossovers are a bitch!
