Today I was on the interstate coming home from school(night time) when a beautifully well kept 5th gen came flying past. I was like.. Sweet! Then a black 6th gen came right after it. I sped up and paralleled the black one. Turned on my dome light and waved at the guy. He turned his on and gave me a thumbs up. He was like 28ish. Celica's seem to find their way to cool people, you know?

I rarely see girls in 6th gens in this area. Of course, I rarely see other 6th gens at all, but when I do it's 90% male driven.

One of my friends wants mine so bad though. I let her drive it once and that's all it took.

I've seen like 6 other celicas here in kansas other than my own, 2 of those were being driven by chicks. And one of those chicks had a 25th anniversary like mine.

Well around campus here there are aobut 5 other 6th gens and they are all driven by ladies, except for Johns celica. There are some 5ths but mainly 7th gens. Most of the girls that I see driving them are atractive. I ran into aguy who had another 6th gen at advanced auto parts one day and he was preaty cool. We talked and what not.

I keep passing this white 6th gen hatchback going the opposite way on the way to med school everyday. Driven by a girl in her twenties or so. Near the same area I once passed this exact duplicate of my car, except it was a hatchback...the older woman in it (in her late 30s maybe) was like "AGNUGH~?" when I turned past her...I think the only time I saw a guy driving a 6th gen was back last october, and he was bald.

Before I got my celica, I only saw like 3 6th g's where I lived (it's a city with like 200,000 people in it), but since I got mine it seems like more are around here. I've seen like probably about 12 here, and my a couple of my friends are starting to say that they're common cars! I didn't expect that to happen. Theirs a black hatchback too, that looks like mine with tints and stuff, so I gotta get some rims to make mine stand out. But when I come out from a store or somethin, alotta times I'll see a celica parked next to mine lol.

I think the reason you've seen more lately is because of the price. I bought my 95 ST 4 years ago for $12k, and back then it was worth it(almost a year before the 00 hit dealers). Last year a 95 ST in decent shape was around 6k, now they go for 4-5. I'm sure the 6th won't devalue as much as the 4th(due to massive amounts being produced), but we've hit the point where they are easy to buy. In the next few years, the price should go back up a bit(due to less being around thanks to wrecks, blown motors...). Sure it won't go back up anywhere near what I paid for mine(untill inflation kicks in), but they won't be as easy to buy.

I've seen a souped up 5th gen that has body kit and the sound(exhaust,..). Seems like every night there is something poppin from where the direction he is going and i think i have an idea where. I never got a chance to kill that car. Someday I will...until I'm ready to re-appear into the streets again. Mostly 5th gens are spotted around here most. Out of many there are only few clean + decent ones. The rest is just crap

I've seen at least 4 6th gens in my little town. One has a Invader body kit. That's what you get when you have a small town and a toyota dealership.

I for one am glad that there are not a lot of our cars out there, even if it means lack of parts and all that. Because of the lack of parts available to us it is harder to customize and you really have to put a lot into a 6th gen celica, unlike those more trendy hondas or mitsus where you can point to a product in an import mag and be like yea thats for my car and thats for my car and so on and so on and so on. But it is nice to see a 6th gen every once in while.

I was talking to a guy that runs a shop, he said there a about a dozen 6 gen's in the valley here. The one that really crushes me is there is a really nice 94-95 GT, and a little old lady, can barely see over the steering wheel, is the only one that I have ever seen driving. wink.gif

Ive seen a 6th gen with an Invader Body kit around here. Body looks nice but I guess he had hubcaps but didnt like em and decided to take em off. That right there TOTALLY kills the car... confused.gif i think hubcaps look better than nuthin. Other than that i have yet to see a really hooked up 6th gen. I love my celica biggrin.gif

is it black? cause the only celi with an Invader kit I've seen around here is a black one.
