it should, i think the "beams" denotes a 4th gen 3sge. i know the ss-II had the 175 HP version of the 3sge. if you have the 200-210 HP one, that's the same as the 3sge in the altezza.

lucky bastard.

but yeah the engines are the same and the mods will work for the most part, atleast the internals, but since the altezza ia rwd, the placement of some external mods might not fit right

It should be the same, but if you are planning to modify the internals why dont you go for aftermarket performance parts?I mean not Toyota parts.

Peace

actually, the heads are different. there is plenty of stuff out there, just make sure you buy internals (like cams) that are only made for your car. the pistons and rods (the block) parts will be the same, tho.

If you thinking to buy cams choose them for daily driving (stage1 or stage2) and i recommend valve springs and retainers, also if you dont have metal gasket go for it and polish the port. Then upgrade the ECU and also a VAFC will be nice and later go for the intake monifold.

Re file! (Means m8 at Greek)

I think http://www.todaracing.com got few things for the 3SGE but check it out.I think you should done a complete work, dont upgrade just the head wait until your engine goes to the limits and later do the all job complete.Me pre-previous(My previous was a WRX) car was a prelude JDM 2.2 VTEC 1994 and i upgrade the BLOCK(Camshafts, itr, valce springs) and with a lot of other mods (cc headers, fuel pressure Reg,Flywheel, racing clucth, intake system,Apex VAFC,spark plug wires, exchaust) and the car just hit only 260HP@8700 but i wasnt happy, what i`m suggesting to you,cuz (celicas,Preludes etc) are a little bit heavy cars its not easy to get HP without force induction like(turbo or Nos),and besides its dangerous for your car pushing it for the High RPM without upgrading the botton.i had a lot of troubles with my previous cars thats why i choose something fast and reliable like the GT-4.

Good luck with it and if you need anything else let me know.

I`ll be glad to help.

Hi Charle!

What are the main differences between the heads?

I a highyly assuming that the newer head might have better flow.

Where and I get info on this engine?
