i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

That pretty cool. Do those things have a lot of potential? I haven't heard to much about them. I thought they were like the new "KIA's" for awile. But it looks like they've got some real go power to them.

honestly, that is incredible in my opinion. Do you guys realize what it would take to get a celica into the 12's? Are there any new GT-S celicas in the 12's?

Jon= also impressed.

I am probably wrong...but doesn't the TC house the same motor as the GT-S?

I really like the TC...I'd get one as a second car if I could afford one.

nope, it has the camry 4 cyl engine. its a 2.4l, the GTS engine is 1.8l, and it comes in the matrix and corolla XRS

It's definately not a stockish engine. And I really hate that engine... i mean... damnit. Regardless of the horsepower rating, you gotta take into consideration the American market again gets bitch slapped by Toyota/Scion, by again simply throwing in a non-performance oriented Camry engine into a supposedly sporty coupe. I'd much prefer it have the 2ZZGE... with no glass roof available...

LOL. Its not stock. The statement "stock" in the video applies to the bottom end, I am sure. You can go here and read all about the car.

keeps changing :rolleyes

i agree w/ Kwanza, the glass roof and the fact that it's extremely popular scares me away from the tC

if the bottom end (pistons, rods, crank) is stock that is impressive... no matter who you are. So what if it's a camry engine,,, if it can handle that kind of power I'd drive it. wink.gif

And yea,, the glass roof idea isn't the brightest. no pun intended
