What does everyone mean by glazing putty, might be a dumb question, but, what products do you guys use to go over your bondo..

I'm not sure what the brand was that I had bought, but the thing that the putty does is to basically remove all the pinholes and to really smooth out the bondo. I don't know if you need to use it or not if you are going to use filler primer on it, but I think it dries harder than bondo as well. I'll try to see if I can find out the brand was that I used.

EDIT: The stuff I used was Kardol EZ Glaze. I think it was about 50 bucks for a half gallon can, but make sure you get the hardner as well if it doesn't come with it.

Ok, glazing puddy is dif then bondo. Bondo is also a brand, I have used a few dif brands and I stick with bondo, Also I use bondo glazing puddy too. GLazing puddy is for the small lines pin holes or others that u missed..also it dosnt need mixing. you can get lil tubes for 2-3 bucks. one tube will last you a long time cause your not saposed to use that much of it.

what i have been using is bondo filler, the thing is i wasnt sure aboutwhat galzing putty to use, i have such a hard time getting those tiny pin holes out.

3M makes a good glazing putty and bondo as well. I am currently using 3M to repair dings and stuff in my car before my kit and paintjob.
