3VZE is a truck SOHC engine... and it has terrible head problems also... probably one of Toyota's worst (that SOHC head was later replaced with an FE head and the engine was over-bored to 3.4 liters). There was the 2VZFE (2.5 liter V6) in the early V6 camrys, but this engine wasn't that great. The difficulty would be just as high as the 1MZFE and the 1MZFE is a far superior engine. Both will bolt up to the same tranny.
