I was wondering if parts off of the 3s-gte engine would work on the 5s-fe, such as the manifold bolting up and using the turbo off the 3s-gte(Ithink its called the ct-26, not sure) thanks in advance

You can use the turbo but i dont think the manifold will fit without modification

i think the manifold will fit simply because both blocks are s blocks(3sgte, 5sfe) the 3 stands for 2 liter and the 5 for 2.2 liter, the s is the model of block, the g and f stand for performance and economy head, respectively, the t is for turbo, and the e stands for engine. im not too sure on it tho.

and if the manifold fits the turbo will go on there too. the ct26 came on the 3rd gen 3sgte, i think the 2nd gen had a smaller one(ct20 maybe)

i think "e" means electronic fuel injection. confused.gif

the manifold from a 2nd gen 3sgte will fit a 5sfe. the stock turbo on a 2nd gen engine is a CT26. the CT20b is on the st205 and bigger. for the ST guys tho, the 4age manifold will not fit a 7afe.

Thanks.

I will have a full report on how well it all works with a 6th gen in about a month or so.
