Hello, I'm new to these forums (and toyotas too. Used to own a 240sx).
Anyways. I recently purchased a 94 ST, Me and a freind did a head swap from another 7afe (the original had an EGR blocking plate and we dont know why) anyways after the head swap it drove fine but then it began to stutter around 2500 rpm. We replaced fuel Inhectors (freind just happend to have new ones on hand lol), Plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter. Still did it, so i took it to a local shop to have it checked out. The guy said my timing was off a little so he corrected it for free, and when i was driving it home it now does it around 3k Rpm. So I am wondering if it is a fuel problem or electrical somehow? Your advice is greatly appreciated!

oh and one more thing. When I am driving it it makes this weird gurgle-ish sound from around the Intake (stock intake and piping) But when i check it out, it is connected and everything looks fine. But it only does it when the check engine light comes on (it comes on around the 2500-3000 rpm area), also when i hit a pot hole or something like that it stops. But there seems to be nothing loose.

the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.
