Had terrible fuel mileage as I posted previously. Had a "used" O2 sensor installed after the 1st CAT and my fuel econony is back to where it should be according to fueleconomy.gov. Just got 28.7 MPG mixed city/hwy. So for those whove changed plugs, fuel filter, air filter, etc. and still geting bad fuel economy, could be your O2 sensor.

Agreed, If you are male, they also take testicles.

Expect to pay over $100 for just the single O2. Our cars have two of these. You can get the non-toyota replacements for around $40.... don't know how well they work though.

The generic ones here look to be the same brand as the other, but just don't have the connector. I'm sure you could cut your old lines, and wires these up to work fine.

I haven't tried it though, so just speculating.

just go down to advanced auto parts
or your local parts shop they will sell you
a NEW o2 sensor
NEVER GO TO THE DEALERSHIP
when will you learn parts = don't go to dealer

It was the 2nd one "back of the cat", even though our cars have 2 cats. Both can be replaced by you with a few simple tools. The bad thing is that the OE O2 sensors aren't cheap. Or you can splice into your existing wiring and save some cash using "universal type"
