OK so I did the Civic intake mod today reset my ECU (both as said in how to section) Now I have an idle issue,, sometimes idles perfect at 1,200rpm others dips down to 800rpm or hangs up at 1,600rpms,, any ideas?? Usually hangs high after running her on the hard side... I looked at the throttle linkage when reving high looks like not all the way closed,, the little idle adjust screw not touching,, could it be the throttle cable stickin a bit??

Have you put back on all vacuum hoses?
also, is the MAF sensor put on properly? If all of the above, tis fairly normal for the ecu to adjust itself. Drive normal and hard out for your ecu to adjst to your type of drivng. It is still in learning mod. Give it some time. |

I believe once the engine warms up, the idle dips down a little bit. Not sure though.

that is normal on any car once started and is cold. even when hot, it will do that for a couple of seconds. |
