I have Celica GT rims and they have some scratches and marks on them so I am going to wet sand them and polish it up a little. I think I might as well paint them while I'm at it, and ideas on what color I should paint them. By the way my celica is silver, so what will match with that?

I really didn't have too much rash, only on one of the 4 it was noticable. Some people use a dermel to smooth it out. Ask Macavely, he is currently taking some rash out of some rims he bought.
painting them make a huge difference, some people do bronze, I thought about doing the graphite, but I think it would look "dirty" if you weren't close up. If there was a sliver lip around it I would of done it but not with those wheels. I stuck with boring beautiful stock silver... I am shameless, more pics of the wheels on my car http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=22476&hl= This post has been edited by Batman722: Jun 20, 2005 - 11:27 PM -------------------- |

im gonna tackle this also...getting ready for the winter. going for a flat black with a couple clear coats...should have a nice satin finish to it. then im gonna put on some all season falkens. should look real nice.
any advise before i go for it? This post has been edited by Jdog1385: Sep 13, 2005 - 6:10 PM |

Try and do one with metallic flake if you're gonna do black winter rims. That'd be kinda neat if you ask me.

leave the trim/lip the silver.. and color the middle part black
i think black rims looks the best with a silver car.. and the silver rims lok the best with a black car... you know some contrast and makes them stand out -Chris |
