OK, on the hatchbacks from 96-99, when you remove the OEM side skirts, what does it look like underneath? The reason why I ask is because there is this girl who works in the same building as me, she has a hatch, but she doesn't take very good care of it, so I'm thinking about making her an offer for her sideskirts since she probably wouldn't even miss them. If it doesn't look all crappy underneath then I may be able to convince her to sell them to me. Anyone have any pics of a 96-99 hatch with the skirts removed? Thanks in advance...

sorry to tell you man but its going to leave a few holes. there are plastic clips that fit into the body all along the sideskirts. haven't seen it in person but by the looks of it, it'll leave a bunch of visible holes on the body.

the holes will be underneath, they won't be visable unless to look under the car. the car will look just like the 94-95 from the side, it won't be bad.

Yeah, it's only like that on the convertibles. The flat bottoms and holes all the way down the side are part of the modifications needed to make our cars into convertibles.
