Hey I did a search to find if anyone has gotten the burien turbo kit, but couldn't find any reviews on it, if it's a good kit and if it's worth the money?

Most people suggest that you build your own and save some money or upgrade the components with the money saved. If you're lazy, in a hurry and/or have extra money laying around it looks like a good choice.

the kit is good. Its solid and comes with everything that you need to START boosting. And thats all it is, a starter. If you want more power than it gives (i.e. turn up the boost past 5psi), you should also invest in something to control timing, fuel, and maybe an intercooler.

I met a guy with the kit, nothing else, on his MR2. He is really happy with it. You also get great service and support with the kit from Burien. If you have a problem, just call and they will gladly help you with their kit. I can attest to this service myself.

but the thing is, its $2500. A custom kit with everything the burien kit has and more will run you $1000 less. Plus searching for parts, finding out what parts to get, etc... forces you to learn about what you are about to do to your car. This is why we recommend the custom route and why most people who are vocal on these boards go that way.
