wouldnt a 5th gen cai fit on a 6th gen? they're both the same 5sfe's, so wouldnt the intake path be the same practically? theres one on ebay for sale, and its almost the exact same path as a 6th gen cai.

Your much better off making it. I know your dad doesn't want you to put anything on, but it can be a lot better quality to make it yourself. You can run it right were you want it. Use Urbandork's how to. It's really nice. Your dad would probably have a heart attack if he's seen what I've done to my car. I buy preformance parts from Lowes. As long as you do everything right, there's not going to be a problem. Just be clean, and smooth. And don't cut corners.

ok, i need some real advice and help here guys, look in my profile and see how far my intake goes down, does anyone know of an intake that i can add on to that to finish it to reach down under the battery? I really want to get my cai done, i know it wont give me any performance whatsoever, but i just want the exhaust to sound better. I was thinkin of a celica short ram from ebay, because all i need the intake to do is go down a little bit and then go straight at an angle for a certain amount. An accord intake looks like it would work too

Dang dude, you've got enough there I think. Your best bet would be to try and put it in the fender. Take off your battery and fuse box, and you'll see a little hole going down into your fender there. With that 2 1/2 inch pipe, it should fit okay down through there. If it's not enough, you can buy a little piece(s) from ebay. Your sucking in hotter air right there than if you left it up in stock box location.
