i am looking for an exhaust and am thinking about the dr catback or greddy sp1/2. just dont know whether dr catback is legal. i live in CO if that matters. also if anybody has it, is it too loud in your opinion? thanks

I dont know if its legal in CO, but i emailed the guy about loudness and he said its VERY loud.

i have a greddy SP 1 on my celi, and its VERY quiet. at idel u cant even tell the car is on, but at full throttle it makes a great humming noise, thats not too loud, but u know its thier.yes, i herd the dr. cat back is very loud but just because its loud, dnt mean its doing anything performance wise.

john's Dr. Catback is not street legal, it was designed as an optimized autocrossing exhaust. you have to have a CARB certification for it to be "street legal" which to my knowledge was never done. I believe it terminates right behind the seats undernieth the car. I used to have a SP on my old celica, not much of a performance gain, but had a GREAT sound and was very inhabitable even on long drives.

thanks all for the info, ya id like the greddy sp1 but having trouble finding one, great site by the way
