another one bites the dust... PICS!, got hit 2day (now with pics) Options

So i was out goin to drop off my college tution on the other side of the city, went, dropped it off, went to this place called pasific mall to get some stuff for the celi. Picked up a razo shift knob, Apexi badge, TRD badge and a big window sticker for the front windsheild that says "celica". Every thing was goin good, sun was shineing, crusing with the girl friend, every thing goin great. So we headed back on the highway to go home cuz the gf needed to pickup her mom at work in an hour n a half. So we r crusing along, duin maybe 100km/h..then we start to hit traffic, so its all start stop traffic. So i ususally leave a few car lengths inbetween when traffics like this. So im goin, the truck infront of me moves, i wait, move up 2 and theres a big 2500 dodge ram pickup behind, he leaves about 4 car lenghts and starts to move, then some guy hops in with a ford explorer and cuts him off. Traffic got thick again so i slowed down, guy in the explorer isnt payin attention and stops short, doesnt hit me, but stopped short enough for the Ram to hit him. So the ram slams on his breaks, breaks squeel. At this point i look at my rear veiw mirror, see the ram slam into the explorer and see the explorer's rear glass just explode and it kinda bounce and move to the right, so i quickly downshifted and swung to the left(close to the gaurd rail) and tryed to boot it out of there, but the guy with the explorer was scared and hit the gas and sped up right into the back passanger side of my celi. Blew out the tail light, cracked a hudge section of my bumper almost off and f*cked up my rear 1/4 pannel royaly. So i pull over onto the shoulder, the guy in the ram moves, and the guy in the explorer rolls up infront of me, gets out talkin on his cell phone. So im ****in freakin out cuz my car got the most dmg. So the guy in the ram comes over checks to see if we are ok, my neck is f*ckin killin me. So ambulance comes, i get taken to hospital with neck injuries, and a minor cuncussion. My girl friend got one to. Heres the best part, the retard with the explorer is at fualt here right, stoped short, talkin on his cell and cut the other guy off, and this is what really pissed me off, this fat f*ck(weighed like 400lbs) tells the cops that he saw me and my gf smoking up while driving and its our fault. My girl friend has maybe a drink every 6 months and has never even touched any thing like a cigg or weed b4. I havent smoked in 4 years. So the cop questions my gf witch was soo bad because she was shook up non the less. So the cars in the shop for a few weeks, and since my drivers seat was ****ed b4 hand, we arent sayin anything about it and also because my tail lights busted, im gonna get a set of ST205 tails and the whole car repainted. So im in a **** load of pain, so is my gf and the celi's ****ed for awhile. Great way to end a great day eh? check out last page for pics of the celi now.

That sucks man, and weren't you thinking about setting your celi aside for an MR2? And about the smoking, I hate when people lie about car accidents. A few weeks ago, a cop wrecked into my sisters car while she was parked in a parking lot. He didn't give her his insurance info, and HE WROTE HIS OWN ACCIDENT REPORT. He lied and said it was her fault and charged her with careless driving (parked in a parking lot no less) to support his story. Needless to say, she took it to court and she was acquited.

As for the dude in the explorer, I hope that bastard gets whats coming to him. Feel better soon.

This is probably the main reason I really want to get a second beatup car just to get around town. My celi's been hit 3 times now, and a near hit that would have resulted in a totalled celica and a possibly dead driver if I hadn't sacrificed my rear end to the side of a mountain face.

Bottomline is most people just can't drive responsibly. I avoid stop/go traffic like a plague, and im always aggresive on the freeways. I figure it this way, if im out in front, then there is no one else around me to do something stupid.

I've had to pay for almost all my repairs because most of them were hit / runs in parking lots. Since you got the guy, I say nail it to him for what hes worth.
