I was wondering what every ones RPM's are in a standard. My car seems like it runs to hard at like 80mph its at 4 grand. Just give me some speeds-what gear-and what RPM its at thanks

my car turns about 3300 at 80. I've got a 95 ST auto.

im also at 4k goin 80 mph. that one of the reasons why when i get my 3s-gte i wanna get the mr-2 tranny with it casue if im correct its a different tranny and has different final drive gear ratios. correct me if im wrong

try turning the OD on if you have a AT, if you have a MT sounds about normal...

4 grand at 80.. need 6th gear bad.. but since my car is a convertible the wind noise always masks the engine noise at that speed.

yeah, 80 has me around 4k...pretty high...but you can't win them all...I feel the gearing hurts this car a lot.

Dunno...I hit 4100 going 90...and I drive 90mph down the interstate about everyday.

Guys

In Australia we have lazer speed checks on the freeways

I noticed that at 100klm/h (62Mph) on the clock the lazer check reads 97klm/h (60Mph).
At 110Klm (68Mph) the Lazer check reads 105 (65Mph)...

I have 16inch alloys on so I figured if anything the speed might slightly over read, but it looks like the other way around.

(The tyres are low profile, but nothing extreme.)

At 100klm/h (62Mph) the revs on an Australian import read approx 3200, so 4000+ revs at 90 (130Klm/h) sounds about right for manual.
