I caught you a delicious bass.

Seriously though... It's not something I do on a regular basis, maybe twice a year at most. I've always gone at night 8pm-2am. We use plain ol' worms usually catch catfish if we just let it sit at the bottom of the lake or bass if we're fishin' shallow.

I hate taking the hook out of them when i was little i used to get stabbed by them. Used to ball up a piece of bread and put it on the hook as bait and catch catfish/carp : )

I go to Canada periodically on a week long fishing trip for smallmouth bass and northern pike.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

I like to fly fish once in a while. Usually for trout, and stealhead.

I fish on the beach and catch dusky sharks, occasionally some flounder and such but rarely anything actually worth keeping. Behind my house is a pond, and you can catch all sorts of **** in there, lg & smallmouth bass, pickerel, pike, perch, sunnies etc smile.gif

I go up fishing in Alaska from time to time. I go to Petersburg, and then take a boat to a place called Island Point Lodge. The last time I went I caught a 190lb Halibut using fresh herring I caught that morning in the harbor.

this is an ironic thread because Friday, I'm leaving with my dad to go to Canada for a week full of fishing. I've never gone before, so I'm kind of skeptical of the whole trip...Should be fun though. I'm trying to stay optimistic.

I normally catch bass, bluegill, and sunfish in creeks and lakes around here, but I'm going deep sea fishing off San Diego next month for the first time.

Similar, but different. Bluegill are mostly in ponds and rivers around here, while sunfish I've only seen in smaller creeks with clear water. Bluegill can get a lot larger, especially hybrids. I've never caught a sunfish bigger than my hand. Sunfish have a lot of orange and blue on them and are actually kind've pretty.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

The best bait is shiners. Me and my friends like to use them when we go fishing for pike.
