I am starting a "good thread" archive. Post up the links to the threads that you find particularly helpful and I will update the first post from time to time. If it proves to be popular, maybe one of the mods will make it a sticky. I will try to keep some sort of order to the threads here so it would be nice if you can describe the thread in the text portion of the hyperlink function when you post. Here is an example of what I mean:

Do not post this:

http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=22856&hl=e153

Post this instead:

Making the MR2 Turbo tranny work in a front wheel drive Celica

Lets see how good of a thread we can create.

The Archive:

Engine/Transmission/Performance
Making the MR2 Turbo tranny work in a front wheel drive Celica
Repair tips for GT4/3sgte owners
Auto to Manual Transmission Swap

Suspension/Handling/Braking
What is wheel offset and how does it work?
Best size tires in various size wheels for no speedometer correction

Exterior Styling
LHD Conversion for Projectors
How-to make 94-95 clear turns
Removing the amber from JDM tail lights
Smoke / Tint your tail lights

Interior/Audio/Electric/Wiring
Interior/Audio/Electric/Wiring Archives
Part Numbers for unique emblems
Changing Interior Lights to Blue

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Good idea for a sticky since I don't think that the site really needs an archive section.

Hey guys, how about a little love here? This could be very cool. Check out honda-tech.com or celicatech.com and see their stickies and archive sections. The very cool thing is that you can just go read these threads that contain VERY useful information WITHOUT spending hours searching. I know you guys have some favorites. Lets go people!

I have a question......I created this thread-Some repair tips for GT4/3SGTE owners- and now have some more to add to it - namely fitting a decat pipe and some other bits and pieces. can I post it on the same thread without being hounded / flamed for bringing back an old thread or should I start a new one??

Not really. All I did was set up this thread and start a group buy that is bound to turn out better than the one for the VIS skirts.

Nice work guys! biggrin.gif

Maybe it's just me, but it seems as if it'd be more logical if each forum had its own thread like this that would be stickied. What do you guys think? (I'll clean this thread up once I get some responses.) wink.gif

I'm disappointed this thread hasn't been as embraced as it should, it contains a lot of pertinent information which may be hard to find (or time consuming).

Anyway, here's a website which seems to have very helpful information (not sure if it's well known, but I certainly didn't know about it):

Some general suspension and maintenance tips

While not exactly a thread on 6gc... info is still info right? biggrin.gif (also, +1 bump)
