Im beggining to get sick of toyota...I called scott clarks toyota city in charlotte (not my favorite place but its close) because ive been having a hard time finding some hatch lifts. all the street corner parts stores dont have them (autozone etc) and i cant find them online. toyota had the cojones to tell me they were $130 EACH!!!!!!! now i may be delusional, but isnt that a little high? EVEN FOR TOYOTA? i mean damn!! does some sucky sucky come with that??? or at least some vaseline for the idiot who buys them??
what do ya'll think about that? thanks for listening...ive had a bad week, car's been giving me problems and i need a beer.... This post has been edited by easternpiro1: Aug 12, 2005 - 9:30 AM -------------------- |

That does seem a bit pricey but getting anything from toyota always is, so you may have to play by their rules or think about this.....create a lift rod ( like the one that holds up your hood) to put up your hatch, that may be another feasable way to solve your problem, and it might be kinda cool/unique. Maybe not tho...

Lift Supports
If you can't find them in there, go to Replacement Parts>Shock & Strut>Lift Supports, I'm sure they have them there but I can't post the link. Edit: Bad Link This post has been edited by Cutrara: Aug 12, 2005 - 10:15 AM -------------------- |

local dealers are nuts , Toyota of bowie told me 96+ front turn signal housing were 48 each
lol I know about the diamond cut ones on ebay but I wanted Toyotas , Toyota parts cheap sells them for 24.71 each http://www.toyotapartscheap.com/ If you really want Toyota parts you can get them online at a fair price or perhaps tell your local dealer that you know about the wholesalers on the internet and maybe they will match the price. |

Best place I've found is 1sttoyotaparts.com -- wholesale prices from a Toyota dealership, and shipping is only 10% of the total.
