We dont really do to much any more, we see eachother like every day (she lives 4 blocks away) and i dunno. I feel like i want more, like maybe i want a fresh start. Any one else ever felt like this?/how did u deal with it?

Well, your profile says your 18, so if you've seriously been together with your GF on and off since you were 14, I'd say it might be time to move on. In general, college and especially high-school relationships are just for experimenting and finding out what you're looking for in your future wife/husband. So just ask yourself one question. Do you think you will be happy together in two years? In ten? If so, then you're luckier than most of the population, and what you're feeling now is just a temporary feeling of needing some space for a while. It's a guy thing. It'll pass in a few months. If you really can't see yourself being happy together in the future, then at this point you're just wasting your time, and the longer you hold on, the more you'll hurt her when you break it off. Just make sure to look at the big picture, and not just your feelings at the moment.

I guess ur right. My last relationship lasted 8 months and i relized i dont wanna end up with a girl like my ex(slutty, stupid and rich..dont mind the rich part, but u get the point). This is what she looked like
but yea..she was hot and all, but i couldnt stand her in the slightest bit. Then my new gf is more like laid back, dresses more ..proper..lol and like doesnt even swear. So im kinda gettin the feeling i dont want a slut, but i also dont want a prepy girl either. |

its amazing..my gf gets pissed off at me if i told her what i did on my car..then on the other hand..me personaly, im not religous...my gf on the other hand..super catholic..shes part of "the god squad", and like the red cross and like all these religous groups and groups conserned with third world contrys and suffering and stuff. And she also talks about all these things every time we are together and she gets pissed off at me for talkin about my car yet she talks about this stuff all the time. I dont like hearin about it but i deal...

Boredom is a killer in a relationship. Try something different with her other than what you normally do, see if that tickles your fancy.

break out of the routine hanging out. tell her ur going to take her out somewhere formal for the evening, if she asks where say its a surprise. u both dress up really fancy (think prom or winter formal), you get her a ring, or a necklace to wear, or both but dont give it to her until dinnertime. pick her up in ur freshly waxed celi, play brian mcknight in the car. walk up to her door, give her some flowers, but pick something different than roses. open all the doors for her. drive her to a place special to both of u when u first met but havent gone to for awhile. get dinner reservations at a place where u need to get them 4 days before at a place where they dont put the prices of the food on the menu. walk around afterwards in a place where theres alot of people that are dressed in regular jeans and shirts so everyone can see you two stick out. dont hold her hand but entwine ur arms. watch a movie afterwards then gaze at the stars.
dates like that really show how much she means to you, especially if its for no particular reason (anniversary, dances, bdays) if that doesnt spark anything then damn, that really sucks, lol -------------------- |

My boyfriend hates it when I talk about my Celica and the plans I have with it... I have many many tales about how he hated on me and my Celica... He alwasy gets mad thinking I love my car more than him... Which is a real stupid thing to think Yeah I love my car, but not that much... Its just a friggen car... Big deal... Then there was my birthday... My dad got me my sub for my birthday.. Best present ever! But my BF just got jealous of me and took it out on me... He said that I was a spoiled lil brat and was inconsiderate of asking my dad for sucha a expensive Bday present... I just came back and told him... "Ya know... My dad didnt havta buy me the F@%*ing subs, I didnt make him buy it for me!" That made him shut up... Then when I told him I was getting a body kit.. He got annoyed saying that im wasting my money on stupid sh@t... I dont really care if he's dissing on my car.. Im doing what I like and if he doesnt like it, well... Tough Luck, he'll havta deal with it, or just leave if he cant handle it... He knows that cars are a huge thing wih me, just like weightlifting is a big thing for him... It doesnt bother me none when he talks about how in shape he is, when I feel like a complete lazy ass slob standing next to him... LOL So why should my talk of cars bug him? So whenever he knocks off on my car, I just shrug, and think to myself... "My car is better than yours!" I know it may seem like me and bf are not real good together, but thats not the entire relationship... Yeah, he puts up having to hear me babble on about my car, but it only gets to him when i talk about the money im putting into my car... he grew up with a rough past so he doesnt really take money for granted, he's real careful with his money... and when he sees me blowing off my money subs and body kits and pointless shopping sprees... He thinks its reckless spending... But we rarely fight over my car... Besides... now he's starting to get intrested in how we're putting on my body kit... He was with us when me and my dad were tetsing out how itd fit, and he was asin a buncha questions and adding suggestions.... I think my love of cars is starting to grow on him... Cuz he is definetly not a car fanatic... He doesnt like imports like I do, but h loves talkin to me about how cool the new Mustang is (I love that car so much ) and he oves talkin to me about the old american cars... Hee hee He's takin me to see this cool car gallery of old American cars soon, I cant wait! I still like my boyfriend very much.. Im not bored with him or anything... We just have a few differences in what we like best This post has been edited by CelicaBuddy: Aug 14, 2005 - 12:43 PM -------------------- 2003 Nissan Murano SE |

But yea..no offence 2 her..only guy shez gone out with who has treated her right was me. (guy b4 me was some lil 5'3 white kid who thought he was from the hood and was all "gangsta sh*t YO!"..lol..and new guy was like a taller version of guy b4 me(about half an inch though) and owned a sh*tbox grand am). just a general question for the females on the site, why is it that the nice good guys who treat u like princesses get pushed aside for the asshole gangsta guys who dont give 2 sh*ts about u and want u for ur body only?..just cuz ive seen it happen 5 outta 6 times.

ehh, being that young, boredom is going to be a GIVEN... when i was 18, the LAST thing i wanted to deal with was anything longer than a one week commitment... Ive gottem somewhat wiser to what I want out of someone now, and needless to say, without the experence, id still be much in the dark. ive never been the person to settle for less (and it just may be the death of me)....

Because most girls are only interested in what comes after them (which most the time are the a**es). The "nice" guys are normally a little shy like most us gals are and don't really come up to us as the "bad" boys do. I have been with my share of a**es, but i'm begining to see that's not what i want and found a "nice" guy that treats me right.....but that's the only reason i see |
