Ive may be able to get my CAI system made in mass quantities however before i open my mouth to the company that may be able to make the parts for me. I need to know how many ppl would in intrested in buying it. I dont know of a price yet but hopfully nothing to expensive. I jsut want to know how many ppl wouldnt mine buying it if it came out.

If ur not familiar with the CAI system im speaking about check for a CAI for GT thread written by urbandork (me) and theres pix there.

You will notice that in the How To thread i speak about moding the fuse box. If i get a CAI package together it will include stuff to relocate the fuse box a few inches away from the engine bay wall to clear the piping.

unless you're gonna be submerging your intake you really don't need a bypass valve

basically don't drive in like 2 feet of water and you should be all good. rain won't get enough into your intake to cause any problems

yeah, even in the storms i've been chasing the past couple days i haven't had a problem at all (flooded roads, rain so hard it comes through the door seals etc etc) so unless the car is going to do some serious off-roading or something a bypass valve is a waste lol

i duno about a waste cus ull never know when ull run into a flooded underpass as i did.

I wouldnt say its a waste.

Its better to have one and need it then to need it and not have one.

If its summer dont worry. If its raining then just keep an eye open for flooded areas.

i'd be interested in one if it went under the fuse box and out by the fender... I didn't really like the ones that run right behind a radiator blowing hot air onto it. frown.gif
