my brake lights dont work. the taillights turn on when its nighttime but the second lamp inside the bulbs do not activate when i step on the brake. fuses marked TAIL and ST are fine. im looking for a fuse that might go to the brake light switch.
thanks, ray -------------------- |

Have you checked that the second filament isn't burned out? Usually the simplest explanation, unless all of them went at the same time. Occam's razor.

It's labeled 15A STOP.
EDIT: Sorry. I don't know which fuse box it's in. I think it's the one under the hood though. This post has been edited by WannabeGT4: Sep 2, 2005 - 3:37 PM -------------------- Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

I went ahead and looked it up in the BGB. It's actually in the interior fuse box:
EDIT: Just got back from lunch. On my 94 GT it is definately in the interior fuse box just like in the picture above. This post has been edited by WannabeGT4: Sep 6, 2005 - 12:50 PM -------------------- Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

Your guess is as good as mine. If you've installed anything lately check those areas first.

take out the rear tails and check the wires (pinched or frayed). Make sure there is no water in the tail housings too. There is probably a short there. Also change the bulbs just in case.
