I would like to make my dash inserts match the colour of my car and am a big fan of the two-tone interior some of you guys have.

I have seen covering panels on ebay for around $100 (£55) but i'm thinking I could do a good job myself with a few cans of spraypaint and the finish would be thinner than sticking plastic on top of plastic.

Has anyone bought the stick on panels or do you all recommend painting them yourself, if so what kind of paint is best?

Cheers,

Dan

I had dash kit for some time but decided to get rid of it. It did not match the inserts well. Now I have them painted and IMO it looks much better. Go for paint.

I painted mine with the same paint as i painted my car with. (rally red with sunset red pearl) all i have to tell you is if you decide to paint it, wipe down the pieces your painting with thinner before you spray them other wise if u have used amorall or anything like that on them it will cause the paint to fish eye.
