i say get an altezza and be new and refreshing around here or dont do it. I saw plenty of IS 300s at global import car show and i was not impressed with any of em. maybe a tuned sc300? look into those they come with 2jz ready to be turboed, find low mileage one pickup a supra single turbo kit, slap it on, get a piggy back system and your looking into 500whp for your first set of upgrades.

2jz is a powerhouse, HKS 3mm HG you can run 25psi and people have gotten 1000hp at the crank on stock bottom end.

Wouldn't a stock IS300 be slower than your car itchy? IS300s are sweet, but I think your car looks way better and is a lot more unique than a IS300...plus I'm sure you'd end up with a car payment(or a bigger one if you already have one) which is never cool. wink.gif

IS's are nice! probably even the most perfect blend between a 4-door luxury and performance RWD, without the BMW or Mercedes price tag. most of the IS's are auto, but if you look deep enough, you'll find a few 5spd ones around.

Only problem is, the 5 speed came out in 03 or 04, which means not a any real good used ones. still very expensive, and if your in college, dont bother, your just going to get screwed.

you make it sound like all that stuff is free and easy to do. the more your car costs, the more youll spend on mods
