I can't figure out how to remove this gear, the chilton's and service manual just says use a puller. I have a 2 arm puller but the arms can't fit behind the rear sproket, and it seems like if it could it would bend it. Any suggestions?

I thought it showed using two screwdrivers on either end to pop it off? I will check tonight...

I used a large flat screwdriver. Wedged it in the back, and twisted, then I pried on the other side, then the other,,, you get the picture. Just put a little muscle into it.

it's cast iron... you're not going to mess it up unless you use a torch. wink.gif
