well in about 2 week I'll have a 5th gen all-trac front clip (3sgte) in my garage, I already have a shop ready to put it in, so once I get the clip I'm buying a new clutch and light weight flywheel, and dropping them with my car at the shop, then once I get it back and do some testing with it, my 5sfe will be up for sale, and I'll be be getting my new body kit painted (its sitting in my garage now) but then I can get that on, sell my current one, then its back under the hood, with a FMIC, new header and down pipe, custom exhaust with high flow cat, and maybe new cam gears. after that its all up in there air, I really wana start racing it at the trac and but it will stay my daily driver for as long as I can, or untill I buy a new car and garage the celica.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Creis, what body kit are you getting? Why the change? Jared - good to hear.

I'm gonna focus on keeping the ride in good condition and ready to drive through the winter...which I despise. I need to just save some cash...I have no real winter plans. I do know that my tires won't handle for crap in the snow though.

i dont mean to be rude...but i really dont understand you as a person? you have one of the nicest and cleanest celicas out there... even if its just basically got an invader kit on, you did it up right! but not matter what you do, you cant be happy with your car?

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

My front bumper is messed up it has been re-done 3 times and I'm tired of taking it off and sending it back it (even though they have been doing it for free) anyway the sides and rear are not the best quality so I got new ones and a combat front (also because it will help "show off" a big FMIC)

Dude I had the same issue for a LONG time, I would go to my college and alot of guys I knew had brand new RSX's, Eclipse, Integra, VR-4, etc.....so I'd just want to sell and buy something that was a "step up" from the Celica. Now that I'm getting serious about making my Celica perform, I dont regret it one bit and I'm very glad I didnt take the easy route and be like everyone else.

Looking at other cars just makes you less productive at what you really want with your own car, so instead of looking at other cars and dropping all hopes just look for parts that can get your car above that level and go for it. smile.gif

And by the way Jared, I love the way that thing looks now,so dont go toying with it for awhile. wink.gif
