Haha, I've done three toyota installs and in my car when I took the console apart I found out that two screws were already lost by the previous owner, then when I tried to install I lost one more screw and the ****tyest thing is that if it falls down its impossibe to find it (its like they dissaper).
Then I did an upgrade insall on my friends camry, he already had an alpine installed by Boomers and when I took the console off there was only two screws holding it the braket. Then I lost one more when I was trying to put em in.
Third one was my dad's camry, and since I knew that u got to watch out for them screws, I didn't loose any of em!!! YEY experience is cool!!!

You can easily get new ones for dirt cheap at your local auto dealer.
I bought like 20 new ones, cause these also fit your fenders and a lot of holes in the engine bay as well as your interiors. I bought the socket type instead of the phillips cause its eaiser to get them out.

Yeah, not all cars are the same to isntall decks in. If you think any of the Hondas are similar to GMs wow. lol. anyways, use a magnetic bit. That's what they are for. Actually, even better is to use an 8mm magnetic socket, that way you don't strip them either. Just a hint from an actual installer. Before I knew what I was doing I used a screwdriver and stripped a couple of mine to hell. I learned quickly. Use a drill, magnetic bit holder, and the 8mm magnetic bit. You won't lose any Toyota screws...granted the two that hold the plastic center console in have to be removed with a phillips but use the right phillips bit...#2...not the smaller one that everyone loves and it strips out the screws so you bring it into my bay and tell me to fix it and I have to use my impact and brute force to get it out. lol Sorry venting from an install I just did. Some guy had a 94 Celi ST and I was all excited to do it until I saw he cut his factory wiring trying to the install, bent the metal ISO mount pieces, and every screw in there was stripped. Ugh, be smart guys, use the right tool and know what ya doin. And goood job nisky learning like that, you'd be surprised at some of the people after being told time and time again at my bay how many times they make the same mistake over and over again. You are one of the smarter ones I see.

I changed my unit at night! had to do a rush install before I headed out of town. Previous owner had lost a few screws in the HVAC section but the head unit was fine.

yeah I have gone digging for em, almost a lost cause. they fall into oblivian. actualy the left over parts from my 88 civic that got totaled happen to fit, but I have ran out of thoes as I keep losing em, same as the door panel screws I keep working on my door panels and I swere every time I gata drop one in the gravel at night.

might be a good idea to go to a junk yard and just dig though any old car to get as many spare screws as posible, or just fine a close-enough replacement at home depot.

also thoes damn pop-out screws on the door (tward the opening side) I have like 1 good one and 3 busted 1/2 holding onces left.
