Ok so with the massive flooding in Florida. Has anybody been concerned about the wildlife running a-mock and loose in florida? Just thinking about the alligators swimming around your house scares the crap out of me. I know with all the flood and everything going around theres probbaly not going to be much food for the gators, nor the humans. Sooner or later there gonna attack people! So when worst comes to worst. I guess people might have to start using themselves as bait, cause the local food store ain't gonna be open.....for some shopping.

When I go wakeboarding down here in Louisiana we have alligators everywhere. I can get 3 feet from them on my wave runner and they dont do anything. Alligators arent aggresive. IM sure if you mess with them they will fight back.

As messed up as it sounds there actually are gators around the flooded areas... There was ths huge 20 foot gator (biggest recorded gator) that was wimming arund feeding on the floating corpses... They had to kill so it wouldnt attack life citizens... But then again this was in New Orleans...
My physics teacher got an email about it and it had pics of the thing... It was fricken huge... This post has been edited by CelicaBuddy: Oct 27, 2005 - 8:31 PM -------------------- 2003 Nissan Murano SE |

lol. Steve is profiscient with both species. out of 27? species of crocodilians only like 3 are alligators. most are crocks. crocodiles have long snout and alligators have short and rounded. alligators are smaller than crocks but both possess big danger to humans. They bite with 2000+ psi force and then go into death roll trying to tear off chunks of the meat.. that is if they dont drown you first. Either way it is a fast and agonizing death. Smallest crocks are located in africa and live in the forrest.. they are like up to 6 ft. biggest crocks are located in australia (salties) many species of crocks are fresh. biggest on record is like 22 something feet. After watching countless hours of crock tv shows and reading and doing research I can answer any questions you might have..... my aim is yarik83yuri

The article did say that thing was for real too (The truth part of the article said that)... Just not in New Orleans. Which is even more crazy that something that huge was swimming around... -------------------- 2003 Nissan Murano SE |

ya i know they can get that big, I know we had one 16 footer walking down our main street about 6-8 months ago. But alligators arent all that aggressive and dont normally attack humans. 2 big, they like smaller stuff around the size of chickens (& they love chicken) but I was just calling BS on the eating of dead ppl floating around, u know, internet always has some idoit like to put that stuff online which isnt true.

I was thinking that people down there could use some gator meat, cause there is no food or hardly any around. I would like to go gator fishing sometimes in the future when I go down there and visit.

And down here its not like what you hear about gators, there not everywhere. Unless you go to the Everglades or Lake Oakachobee (or however it is spelled) otherwise, you rarely see a gator. -------------------- To live, is to suffer
