Has anyone changed their Automatic Shift Knob or took it off for ****s n giggles? I need to know whats the easiest way without screwing anything up.

i did this replace to my auto shift knob. It was kinda a pain since you had to take off most of the mid-box area off as well as parts of the dash. Youll find the bolts to it in the mid box itself. The knob itself is easy, since you just have to remove the screws holding it in and cut the wires as well as the plastic gaurd that covers the wires. Just remember not to cut the wires too short, or youll have a hard time attaching the new ones from the new knob.
