i really wanna save it and get a new engine for it. its got a lot of miles (165,000) but i think its worth saving. its a 94ST automatic currently with a 7afe, with a broken rod i believe. what should i do guys? and im kinda screwed on money too any donations to x3711@yahoo.com with paypal would be sweet biggrin.gif

but really what is the best engine to drop in this car? and if anyone has one or knows where i can get one at a good price please lmk thanks...

The amount you put in could be used for a down on a new car. Either way, save or scrap will cost you just about the same. Just that with a new car it will last you a lot longer, then having a used engine that will go at any time.

If the body is in good shape then i recommend the swap... thats what i'm gonna do when my engine goes.. I've put to much work into body kits, and neons, and interior... so its getting some HP next biggrin.gif

If your anywhere near Michigan, I'll give you a 7A from a 96 ST (manual tranny though). Just taking up space in the garage.

^^^^ do that - - saves money!

even having the motor shipped to you would be cheaper than anything.
