Picture Gallary Options

Commer you should have a picture gallary on this site to see all the sick cars on one page or something. Just a suggestion. Keep up the good work and thanks for making this site possible

i think thats a totally shibby idea.. maybe a gallery for all of the past rides of the month... .that'd be really sweet to see.... just so people new to the site wouldn't have to look as hard to find the really hook'd up rides.... hope this gets done... good idea though

chill fella's, he's only one man. Geez. The "hottest car section" is going to be nothing but trouble, cuz the hottest cars are subjective. Someone might think its hot when the other doesnt. U just gotta look at sig pics and go thru the members rides section. A Featured Rides of the Past section is a good idea.

my point exactly guys ... if they change the featured ride pretty often ... we can have a gallery of the "best" cars (by whoevers standards) and the site would be more user friendly to newcomers who only wanna see the possibilities of the 6th gen. celica .....

There actually already is a page for the past featured rides on the site, but I just haven't publicized it because right now there have been only two featured rides. I'll give you guys a hint though. The page is already online, and is linked to from two different pages on this site. I'll publicize the page more once there have been a couple more featured rides.

And a new featured ride is coming up soon.

guys i don't give a sh!t about the featured rides i am saying coomer should have a page with a sh!t load of cars on it at one time that would be cool. where you could search for certain colors or interior or what ever. and i don't care that coomer is only one person, he should be forced to stare at his computer 24/7 and entertain us all day. and help us with home work and help us to get money for our cars.j/k

I think that a page full of all of the cars would be incredibly slow, and would kind of clutter up the site.

If you're interested in looking for certain color cars, you'll be happy with some of the search features that I'm adding to the members' rides page in the near future.

Coomer am I right in saying that the major problem with a gallery would be the bandwidth use? Lots of sites on the net that have a similar setup as this one (to a degree) with things such as forums, how-tos, information also run a gallery page, I think it works if you can come up with a good way of implementing it..

What I'm trying to say is that I don't think you should cross it off your list of possible things to add to the site!

One of the main reasons I say this is unless a post is sticky'd, it really can dissappear on 6gc now with all the posts the forums have built up! - My most favourite thread on this website is OReO's GT4 pix thread, and It literally took me half an hour to find again last time I tried. Obviously you can track threads and whatnot, but if possible in the future I think it would be great to have an area dedicated to pictures.
