I bassiclly have my transmission out, its dangling. My only problem now is that i cant get my shift linkage off the tranny. I cant get it to seperate from the motor. Im really agrivated and would appriciate some help from you guys. My haynes manual just says, "Remove shift linkage from transaxle". It doesnt go into detail on how to do this. Please help me out here. Thanks ahead of time,

dj

The linkage isnt attached to the motor at all. If your talking about the shifter cables, you gotta first seperate them from the linkage with the cotter pin, then pull off the linkage. Then you gotta pull out the metal piece which is going to be a pain in the ass. Once you pull that out it should be loose for u to get it off.
