Met a Girl - Advice Needed Options

Last weekend I went to this party, and I met this really cool girl. She introduced herself to me and we talked for a while. She was telling me that she has parties every Friday and that I should come sometime. At one point she told me her address, and I surprisingly remembered it. She lives in one of the residential areas around here.

She seemed to like me, and looked kinda sad when my friends(aka my ride home) came and got me to leave. Me being the shy person that I am didn't ask her for her number or anything. I really want to see her again and maybe see what happens, but I only know here address. I don't know any of her friends or anything.

So this is my question...she told me she has parties every Friday. I'm thinking of getting a friend to go with me and heading down to her house tomorrow and if there are cars there and people outside and stuff, I'm thinking of walking up with my friend and seeing what's up. Hopefully I'd remember someone from last weekend and they'd offer us to stay and hang out or whatever, where I could find then find this girl.

Now, is that weird/stalker-ish? Should I do it or not do it?

My advice would be to kinda wate around outside for awhile. Find a good hiding place, like bushes or a tree, so she won't see you and think your werid for being there. You can scope out what she's doing and what's going on. This should give you an idea of what to do. lol

Really though, just drive by, if she's having a party, go in. Simple as that. Get your hair cut and maybe some new or at least comfertable cloths first too. The more comfertable you are, the easier the whole situation will be.

exactly, play it cool is advice to live by. let her approach you because she will if she is genuinely interested. if not, do not loose your cool and go up to her. just trust me on that one. remember there is a difference between being quiet and shy. its good to be quiet because a sense of mystery for lack of better word should not be underestimated, but shyness resulting from anxiety or whatnot points to lack of self-confidence. just be classy and confident, get her digits and leave soon after, even if you need to make an excuse up, dont get caught up in a conversation with her there. give her a call week later or so, shell be surprised you remembered , set a date and your set. just my advice, use at your own risk, it will turn you into a playa

To be honest, don't bring a friend, unless its your only way home. Walk in by yourself, if you can find someone you know, talk to them (if not, that friend would come in handy) and then after a while if she hasn't found you, just "bump" into her and start the conversation back up. This time get her number. Ask her out to dinner or something for the following week... don't make it seem too desperate, but don't sound cocky or anything. Other than that you should be able to steer yourself around problems. Now... Go get 'er Tiger!

Edit: 95CelicaST says don't bring a friend. BRING A FRIEND. If everthing sucks and said girl ends up not being someone you are interested in, you can always use your friend as an excuse to leave. 'My buddies gotta be home' me and him and some other friends have some plans. But try and get her number and name, if you didn't already.

your plan sounds fine. If there is a party, go to he party. Make sure your friend knows you are there for her, so he knows to back off when hes not needed. Tell her that you came because you wanted to see her, and then ask her out. Girls like to hear that you went out of your way for them. Get her number, ask her to coffee, dinner, bowling, whatver you kids do these days.

Walk up to her door, even if there is no party, and tell her " Hey, you forgot to give me your phone number, last time we met". Hand over a pen and paper to her and say - "Write it down. Don't worry, just do it." Then make excuse and leave, call her next day to arrange a quite meeting. Don't stay at the party coz you probably don't know anyone there and you would look too clingy. I ended up hitting a couple parties with some friends, and then I couldn't get anyone to go with me, so I just skated down to her house, and ran into a couple people outside. They invited me in and I ended up hanging out for a while, running into her and talking to her for a while. After most of the people left she gave me a ride home and her phone number.

She seems really cool...she invited me to another party at her friend's house tomorrow. I think I'll probably be in Yakima though. But I'll be sure to call her next weekend to hang out.

so true! another guy that know what hes talking about. whether they say they do or not, they do. sometimes its hard to "be busy" all the time because you want to see them all the time, but you have to overcome that. and in my opinon, there was some iffy advice given by others.

im not a player, ive had my girl for quite a while now, but there are important things you can learn on how to pick up women from so called "players". any guy in high school can pick up girls for a night, week or whatever, but as you get older the ballgame changes, and its the way that you begin the relationship that is critical. even though all us guys know that in reality she is the one picking you, you need to make it seem as though you are picking her. you need to have the confidence in yourself that you can get with any woman you wish. if she can percieve that confidence in you, it will make her feel special that you are with her. know what im saying? example, if at a party and notice a girl you like, i would flirt with other girls and get them laughing while showing the girl your interested in little attention. shell notice and start to become jealous, get her number later on and then get out. another thing to remember is that dating is essentially a game, that like everything else requires practice to get good at. just practice talking to all women, respect all women and learn how to make them smile, its a skill just like anything else. hell, start a conversation with the checkout lady at walmart. the more practice you get the more comfortable youll be. learn not to fear rejection. and things will go wrong, but its how you learn from your mistakes and get right back in the game that matters. now that you have her interested and her number, just remember to stay classy and confident. keep the phone calls short. keep the dates fun. keep her laughing and keep her wondering about you. dont tell her who you are all at once, show her who you are over time. just some advice for every guy.
