It'll be fine for a while, depending on the condition of your shocks. If you have low-mid mileage, you should be fine. It's always good to replace them while your at it, simply because fresh shocks won't damage other suspension components and just because you have the whole thing apart.

I had the eibach kit installed 1" drop, and I thank if I had to do it again I would've gone w/coilovers, I know you want those springs on bad! and depending on how well your shocks are and how low you want to go, you shouldn't have any probs w/the shocks, But if I where you, and I'm not, I'd just save for both, either doing it yourself or having a shop do it, it's better to get all that taken care of at once. And don't forget do some research on how low you can go before you do sway bar damage, I believe it's somewhere around 2" or lower, it's in one of these forums somewhere, you risk warping the sways, so always something else to invest in!

would be alright for a little while, but would strongly advise you to upgrade your shocks/struts ASAP. I would probably wait til' I had everything I needed to insure quality and safety.
