Can anybody help after i took off my throttle body to clean.. i also bore it a little with drill than i sand it made it smooth .. and then when i put it back together , my car is now running at 1500 rpm at normal temp.. i check for leaks but cant find any.. you guys think i need a new gasket or somthing....or did i mess it up by bore_ing the throttle body ...

How exactly did you make it bigger ? Did you grind out any metal near the butterfly ? if there is any extra space in between the BF valve and the TB then That could raise your idle. Did you check the throttle cable ?

yea, I'd say you prolly ****ed it up by trying to bore it out.

When you take off the throttle body, you should put a new gasket on. I don't know how you could bore it out without using a different butterfly.
