Modding my OTHER car..., An 03 Nissan Xterra Options

Well, my uncle said for christmas, he wanted to fix up my XTERRA since ive been putting money into my celica.He told me to figure out something i would wanna do to it, i was thinking maybe raise it up a lil bit and throw on some bigger tires? or go towards audio... what would you guys do? theres a picture of it in my profile, its in the background of one of the celi pics.

I appreciate any advice i can get!

I think maybe some more aggressive tires and just a little lift would be good if your going offroad. I try to keep them as low as possable to still get done what I need. The higher they go, the less drivable they are on the street. Intake and exhaust mods are good for any car. What are your goals with it? You're not wanting a "pimpin" SUV are you?

well depends on what you want to use the Xterra for. If you want a more capable vehicle, tires and a rear locker would be my first mods. If you don't plan on going offroad go for the stereo

im not going to put spinnerz and neons on it...lol, i was thinking off roading type of driving too. my uncle really wants to buy a grill for it...a buddy of his makes custom grills for Trucks, and wants to get one made for the Xterra...The sound system is already great...i dont know why, but they threw in a good system with this car. I think ill raise 'er a bit too. (no real goals, just wanting to add a lil more fun to the car)

With about a 3inch lift, some bigger agressive tires, and a wench, there's not many places you can't go. Keep that in mind.

I have the Piaa 525SMRs and they are great. Toggle switch allows you to switch from driving to fog beams (high/low). Fog is yellow driving white, but has a lil yellow in it. For the Xterra I wouldnt get a full grille guard, I'd go for a black bull bar like the one pictured. I have a Westin grille guard and its great quality.

tvs? lol what would i do with tvs? i could wire them up with front and rear cameras, and then watch myself driving...

well he owns a small chain of resturaunts in the austin area, so if you like mexican food, he can hook you up with free food, other then that, i dont think much else...hes not very car inclined, although he drives a 350z, he doesnt know much about anything else.
