the handling is better at stock height??? i thought lowering your cars center of gravity gives it tighter handling???

Lowering your car does give it a lower center of gravity, but it also greatly reduces the amount of strut travel, so often a lowered car will be riding on bumpstops on a hard corner(which is bad.) In order to maintain the same amount of strut travel on a lowered car, you need shortened struts, whether custom-shortened or something like full coilover setup.
