Well ive had white smoke that smells like colant for a while, but its only this last week that i noticed coolant leaking inside the car. Its dripping from under the glovebox area. Only leaks when im driving so im guessing its the heater core?

Does anyone know whats involved in taking it out and replacing it. I know i have to take a lot of stuff off but what exactly and is there any advice someone can give me before i do it.

I also plan on bypassing the heater lines but my question is will that affect my AC too no right?

thanks.

I had to change one in my Mustang back in the day, talk about a pain in the butt. I think the Toyota one would be easier but honestly I'm not sure. Bypassing the heater lines wouldn't affect your A/C I wouldn't think. You'll probably have to take out the glove box to get to it. In my Mustang you had to take out the entire dash which involved the console, steering column, gauge cluster, EVERYTHINg it was a pain in the ass but Toyota is better about that kinda stuff lol
