does anyone know if an intercooler will be okay or for my own concern give any hp to the ST204 if there's no turbo...will it fit and how do you connect it? What would be the right brand or type of intercooler i need to buy? i've seen some on ebay, but it usually say it's for the 3SGTE or MR2 or SUPra, other would be the 7th gen only.

an intercooler on an na car will not do anything for you . not to mention that if you do get one people will make fun of you for having it

Having an intercooler on an N/A car might even make you lose power, because it's harder for the engine to suck in air through all that tubing under vacuum, instead of boost.

definately will hurt performance, there's drops in pressure each time the manifold sucks in air, but it's definately not enough on a NA engine to keep flow going easily. will be restrictive.
